- You must sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score at least 200 to be eligible for UI Post UTME and admission screening exercise.
- UI must be your first choice of Institution.
- If you do not participate in the UI screening exercise you will not consider for admission.
- Lastly, you must have reached the age of 16 by October this year and also beat UI departmental cut off mark for your chosen course.

- As a Direct Entry candidate, you must purchase the Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and UI.

- If you do not participate in the UI screening exercise you will not consider for admission.
- You must have reached the age of 16 by October this year.
- UI accept (First Class Degree, Second Class, and Upper credit) but in related fields.
- UI also accepts a minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND) and other Advanced Level Certificates depending on the course.
- In some cases, UI accepts JUPEB and IJMB A’level results but you must have a good result before applying.
