The answer is YES!
The management of the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has warned that prospective candidates without the National Identification Number (NIN), will not be allowed to register for the examination in 2022.
This was disclosed by the Head of Nigeria Office, Mr Patrick Areghan on Tuesday, August 10 at a press briefing organized to announce preparations for the 2021 WASSCE.
He further noted that the development was in line with the Federal Government’s policy as directed by the Federal Ministry of Education.
It must be further noted that NIN is also COMPULSORY for JAMB (UTME) 2022 Registration.

But sorry to ask i has problem about my NIN cause i dont know other am going to using it in my jamb so i make mistake then, the mistake is that, my user name is yakubu usman, but as i fill my file as yakubu usman eso, so i na go for regisretion of my jamn the na said that we are going to use NIN and my waec regisretion i use my like this Yakubu usman so am confuse need your help please thank you?
