UNIPORT Deputy Vice Chancellor Is Dead

Efemini died on Saturday at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, 7 days after assuming office.

The cause of his death is not yet known.

Efemini’s appointment as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Uniport was confirmed on Wednesday.

A professor of philosophy of development, Efemini studied at the University of Calabar, University of Nigeria Nsukka and Virginia University.
