Ngige Lied To Buhari About ASUU Strike – Lecturers

ASUU accused Ngige of lying to Buhari that its executives chased away government officials during negotiations.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) also accused the Minister of Labour and Employment of misinforming President Muhammadu Buhari about its ongoing ASUU strike.

Appearing on Channels TV programme, Sunrise Daily on Thursday, Emmanuel Osodeke, the President of ASUU said Ngige was also churning out fake figures needed to meet the demand of the body.

He said: “If the president had been properly briefed by the committee through the Minister of Education, I don’t think the president would have said enough is enough, go to your class while we are negotiating.
