The Bayero University Kano (BUK) school fees for the 2022/2023 academic session is out.

Newly admitted students and returning students should note that the Bayero University Kano (BUK) school fee schedule for the 2022/2023 academic session has been broken down based on fees and charges which must be payable by both new and returning students.

It must be further noted that BUK Direct Entry (D.E) admitted students’ school fees and UTME fresh students pay the same amount irrespective of their mode of admission to the Bayero University Kano, BUK.

Furthermore, this is the official approved Bayero University Kano, BUK School fees Schedules for all newly admitted students (UTME and Direct Entry) and returning students for this year’s session.

Note that registration fees are not refundable after payment.

BUK ACCEPTANCE FEES (to be paid by all new students prior to screening) is N10,000

BUK School Fees 2022/2023 For All Courses (Bayero University Kano)

Buk School fees for Art and Islamic studies, social sciences, and management sciences is N200,000.

Buk School fees for  Education and law is  N300,000.

Buk School fees for Agriculture, communications, computer science and IT, engineering, earth and environmental sciences, life sciences, physical sciences and school of continuous education (SCE) is N400,000.

BUK School Fees For College of health sciences including pharmaceutical sciences is  N600,000

GENERAL REGISTRATION CHARGES (Payable by All Students)

1. Students from faculties of art and Islamic studies, law, social sciences and management sciences (except banking and finance and accounting) Returning Students 35,000, 100level 38,500, 200level  39,500

2. Students of accounting, banking and finance Returning Students 42,500, 100level 45,500, 200level 46,500. 

3. Students from faculty of agriculture, computer science and IT, communication and earth and environmental sciences (except geology, URP, quantity surveying and architecture) and education Returning Students 38,500, 100level 41,500, 200level 42,500.

4. Students in geology, URP, and architecture Returning Students 43,500, 100level 46,500, 200level 47,500.

5. Students from faculty of allied health science (except physiotherapy) basic medical sciences, clinical sciences (MBBS), Returning Students 43,500, 100level 46,500, 200level 47,500.

6. Dentistry and veterinary medicine Students from physiotherapy Returning Students 45,500 , 100level 48,500, 200level 49,500.

7. Students from faculty of life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences and physical sciences Returning Students 40,500, 100level 43,500, 200level 44,500.

8. Student from engineering and quantity surveying Returning Students 41,500, 100level 44,500, 200level 45,500.

NOTES (payment to be made at faculties/departments) 

1. The general registration fees have been consolidated

2. Architecture students are to pay additional N5,000 in the department for ARCON

3. Geology students are to pay additional N10,000 in the department for practical field trip

4. Pharmaceutical science students are to pay addition N8,000 in the faculty for induction, laboratory manuals and consumables

5. Chemistry and industrial chemistry students are to pay N800 for laboratory manual and report book at the department.

6. Medical laboratory science students are to pay additional N6,250 for mobile laboratory material at clinical laboratory log book in the department

7. Dentistry students are to pay additional N15,000 in the faculty for consumables.

8. Clinical science students are to pay additional N10,000 in the faculty as peculiar charges.

9. All students from faculties of basic medical sciences (L100.SO II), Allied health sciences (except medical laboratory sciences), clinical and dentistry (L100-300) and medical laboratory sciences (L100-L200) are to pay Bench fees of N2,000 to the faculty of basic medical sciences.

BUK Hostel Fees And hostel Maintenance Fees

To be paid by students allocated bed spaces in the university halls of residence) N15,090 or N23,090 as the case may be.

NOTE: 

1. The fees in B and C are reflected in the students payment invoice and are not to be paid during the online registration exercise; while those in A and D (where applicable) are to be paid separately.

2. All departmental or faculty association fees are paid centrally; all students are NOT TO PAY ANY CHARGES to any association.
