University Of Ibadan, UI Ranked Top Best University In Nigeria 2021
The University Of Ibadan (UI) has emerged as the top best university in Nigeria in 2021, according to rankings by Webometric 2021.
According to the ranking result recently released by the body, the best university in Nigeria is University Of Ibadan (UI) followed by Covenant University, which came second, while the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), rated 3rd best among the 100 ranked Universities in the country.
While shedding light on the ranking criteria, the Management of Webometric, a leading Spain based Institutions ranking organisation stated that four (4) ranking factors were used which include; openness rank, impact rank, presence rank, and excellence rank, noting that, those four factors were the criteria used to determine which University tops the table out of all University Institutions in Nigeria.
Webometric ranking of the World Universities/ Institutions is the initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC), the largest Public Research body in Spain.
